Turner Industrial Supply, Inc.
History
Founded in 1972 by James “Ed” Turner, Turner Industrial Supply has grown from its humble beginnings as Turner Hydraulic Hose to a leading supplier of industrial and hydraulic products. Initially, Mr. Turner ran his business independently until 1991, when Clifford Walker took over ownership and expanded the company’s product range and distribution network.
New Era
Clifford Walker has been actively involved in distributing hydraulic hoses, fittings, and related products in the Southeast since 1979. Under his leadership, Turner Industrial Supply, Inc. has flourished, including strategic acquisitions to enhance our service levels. On December 1, 2015, we acquired Maintenance Rubber and Pump in Chattanooga, followed by the purchase of D & D Hose in Knoxville on July 1, 2016.
Hydraulic & Industrial Supply
Since 1991, Turner Industrial Supply, Inc. has diversified its offerings and organized the company into two main divisions: Hydraulic and Industrial.
Hydraulic Division
Our Hydraulic Division proudly represents renowned manufacturers such as RYCO Hydraulics and Texcel, specializing in hoses and hose ends. Additionally, we supply a comprehensive range of hydraulic fittings and adapters from over 50 other manufacturers, ensuring our customers access to high-quality components for their hydraulic systems.
Industrial Division
Our Industrial Division has significantly broadened its product line to include piping, valves, fittings, safety equipment, abrasives, and chemicals. We have also established an Industrial Tooling Division that offers top-tier products from Morse Cutting Tools, Valenite, and many other respected industrial tool suppliers.
